It is extremely easy to pass judgment on yourself and others once you know what the outcome is. Some people refer to this as Monday morning quarterbacking. There's a common quatation that "hindsight is 20/20". Both mean that you would make a different decision if you knew what the outcome would be before you made a choice. And to further complicate matters, you don't know all the details of other people's lives. They may very well have made the best decision possible considering their circumstances. So it is wise to not cast judgment. Not on others, nor yourself. Instead, be truly compassionate and forgiving. Be there to console, not judge. Learn from your mistakes as well as from other people's errors. But judge not.
